My journey began as a high school student in East Lansing, Michigan more than 30 years ago as a punk kid doing mohawks, kool-aid color and whatever else I could dream up on kids in the neighborhood. Despite a few angry parents, I was hooked and under the mentorship of the stylist that cut my hair( yes....I did have hair at one time) a career was born. What a ride it's been!

Over the past three decades I have been blessed with owning two successful luxury salons, employing, training and mentoring hundreds of Hairdressers, traveling coast to coast teaching, working as a Salon Consultant, working on fashion shows and photoshoots, studying under the best in the industry, and most importantly - making thousands of women and men fall in love with their hairstyle and color.

After several years working as a business consultant, assisting salon owners and stylists in growing their businesses, I am thrilled to be back behind the chair and doing what I love. My style has evolved since my punk days. While punk, 70s rock, and current street fashion is still a major influence, my esthetic leans towards sophisticated, precisely cut styles with a rock-n-roll edge. Think cool pixies with lots of texture, modern layers, shags and bobs that move and frame perfectly. All with a color customized to your unique style.
